The Network was created in 1996 at historic Penn Center. The purpose of the SC Progressive Network is to promote – through education and action – human, civil, …workers’ and reproductive rights, environmental protection and government reform. The Network is a statewide coalition of advocacy groups and individual activists working together to improve the quality of life in SC. It is nonpartisan.
Members, friends, and allies of the SC Progressive Network meet each month in Columbia and Rock Hill to share information, coordinate projects, and plan events. Meetings are informal and open to anyone interested in good government and improving the quality of life in South Carolina. See calendar for details.
